Deosai Plains / Fairy Meadows Jeep Safari

Description

This unique and exciting trip will take you one of the most scenic plateaus of Deosai 3980 meters high. Although this plateau is quite well visited by the foreigners and local, but their visits are restricted to the Roadside places. This trip will take you into the areas and huge serene lakes seldom visited by the outsiders.
Drive to Raikot Bridge, through the Astore Gorge and passing through the scenic mountain villages we meet the Indus River at thalichi and continue drive through the narrow and deep Raikot gorge to Tato village. Three hours walk takes you through the thick pine forest to the fairy Meadows. Full day excursion to Nanga Parbat Base camp, a very gentle and smooth walk on the green meadows takes you through the high altitude pine and Birch forest, explore the area and after we trek back to the Fairy meadows.

Itinerary

Day 1	Meet on arrival in Islamabad & transfer to Hotel . Afternoon city tour of Rawalpindi & Islamabad. Overnight at Hotel.
Day 2	Early Morning Drive to Chilas, driving on Karakoram Highway along River Indus Overnight at Hotel.
Day 3	Drive to Hunza, stop at spectacular poits to view the Nanga Parbat , Rakaposhi, Diran and other peaks.Overnight at Hotel.
Day 4	Excursion to Khunjerab Pass, the highest point on Karakoram Highway.Overnight at Hotel.
Day 5	Depart for Skardu, driving through narrow gorge of River Indus.Overnight at Hotel.
Day 6	Skardu Full day excursion to Shigar Valley .Overnight at Hotel.
Day 7	In the Morning visiting Khorpocho Fort & in the Evening drive to Deo-sai via Satpara Lake. Overnight in tents.
Day 8	Deo-sai Plains/Rama Lake Drive to Rama Lake in Astore region. Overnight in tents.
Day 9	Drive to Tato & hike to Fairy Meadows. Overnight by tents.
Day 10	Fairy Meadows Day free or optional hike upto the base camp of Nanga Parbat.
Day 11	AM free at Fairy Meadows. PM walk down to Tato and drive to Chilas Overnight at Hotel.
Day 12	Depart for Naran crossing Babusar Pass, en route Overnight at Hotel.
Day 13	Naran AM excursion to Lake Saif-ul-Muluk at 3200 m. PM free Overnight at Hotel.
Day 14	Naran to Islamabad Overnight at Hotel.
Day 15	Destination Flight.
