Safaris / Batura Yak

Description

Gulmit is one of the oldest village of Gojal valleys in hunza. Situated at 140kms from Gilgit. Passu is a nearby small village which is famous for its Yak-Cattle sheep and goats. The village owns the large grazing area, Batura valley. Among the villagers and the foreigners Batura valley is well known for its summer herbs and best touristic sports.
Yak safari in the valley and now every year hundreds of tourist’s rash up there to experience the foods especially made fantastic and the herbs shepherds used as vegetable.

Itinerary

Day 1	Arrive at Islamabad airport and transfer to the hotel.
Day 2	Drive to chilas (approx 11 hrs drive). Over night stay at chilas.
Day 3	Drive chilas to Gulmit (approx 8-9 hrs drive) en-route stop over at Rakaposhi view point for lunch.
Day 4	This day you can explore Gulmit village and its surrounding areas, like Gulmit glacier, Borith Lake, suspension bridges. Over night stay at Gulmit.
Day 5	This day you will start the unique adventure of yak safari towards Batura valley on the way you will cross the Batura glacier it takes 8-9 hrs to reach Yashperth which is the first summer pasture of Passu in Batura valley. Over night camping at Yashperth.
Day 6	Proceed to Kukhell. On the way you can view the majestic Batura ranges on your opposite side. Over night camping at Kukhell.
Day 7	you will get very close to the first ice flow of Batura following the trial along the glacier you can see the dramatic formation of glacier and circumferences Guchesm is the last summer pasture. The stream and wild flower are abundant there. Over night camping.
Day 8	At leisure for day hikes.
Day 9	Retrace route on yaks to Yonz-Ben.
Day 10	Ride to Passu and Drive to Gulmit.
Day 11	Free day at Gulmit or optional day excursions.
Day 12	Drive to Gilgit.
Day 13	Fly back to Islamabad.
Day 14	At leisure in Islamabad.
Day 15	Destination flight. Note: If flight doesn’t operate on day 12 and day 13 to the road journey To Islamabad
