Himalayan ibex lives in the most remote and inaccessible parts of the great Himalayan range. Until recently it was extremely rare to spot an ibex in its natural habitat. Since the recent conservation efforts involving the local communities the ibex population has stabilized in the remote parts of Skardu valley. Snowland Treks &Tours is offering regular excursions to locate and watch these rare magnificent animals in their natural habitat. These groups are limited in size in order to prevent any disturbance to the wildlife or its natural habitat. Only the fit and experienced trekkers are accepted to join these small groups. The wildlife guards in each area are employed to show you the animals as a bonus for their conservation efforts
