Spantik Peak also Known as the Yengutz Peak situated between Nagar Valley near Hunza and Arandu Valley in Baltistan forming the

boundry Hunza-Nagar and Baltistan, is known by various names all depicting different aspects of its splendor and opulence. The northwestern face on the Nagar side is called “Ghenish Chhish”, which in Brushaski (local language) means Golden Mountain. Viewed from Hunza-Karimabad, the sun setting on Golden Pillar is a truly remarkable sight Local people also call it Queen Mountain. From the Baltistan side at the head of CHOGOLUNGME GLACIER the mountain is less intimidating and offers a NORMAL ROUTE to the summit . The summit on clear days presents magnificent views of neighboring Rakaposhi, Diran, Malubiting, Ultars, Battura Group, Haramosh, the entire Shimshal Mountains, and K2 far beyond and many more.

Itinerary

Day 1	Arrive Islamabad, transfer to hotel. Overnight at hotel.
Day 2	Fly from Islamabad to Gilgit which takes approx 1 hour 45 minutes. This is one of the most spectacular flight that one can take in this world. During this flight, you will have a chance to view Nanga Parbat (the Killer mountain) very closely. Overnight at hotel. Incase of flight cancellation due to weather conditions, or non-availability of seats in the flight, this day will be utilized by driving from Islamabad to Besham along the spectacular Karakurum Highway. Overnight at hotel in Besham.
Day 3	A free day in Gilgit for excursion to Kargah Nallah to view the ancient Buddhist manuscripts or drive from Besham to Gilgit. Overnight at hotel.
Day 4	Drive from Gilgit to Karimabad, the capital of Hunza, Visit to Altit and Baltit forts. The Baltit fort which dates back to 700 years, has recently been preserved by the Aga Khan Foundation at a cost of 2 million dollars. Overnight at hotel.
Day 5	Drive from Karimabad to Hopar and begin trek to Shishkin. Today will be our first day of trek and we will begin it with the hiring of considerable number of porters. Overnight camping.
Day 6	We will now have our first view of the Barpu glacier and follow its path till we reach our camp site at Barpu Gram.
Day 7	Today will be a strenuous day as we will trek for longer than usual till we reach our camp site Phai Phari. overnight camping.
Day 8	Trek from Phai Phari to Chukutans at the base of Barpu glacier. Overnight camping.
Day 9	Trek to Girgindi. The elevation at this lace is 3,877 meters. Overnight camping.
Day 10	Trek to Maqpan Phari. overnight camping.
Day 11-12	Our excitement seems to mount as we approach the base camp of Golden. This scenery truly cannot be matched any where in this world. Overnight camp
Day 13	A free day at the base camp for exploration. Overnight camping
Day 14-15-16	We now descend and retrace our steps to Phai Phari. Overnight camping.
Day 17	Return to Hopar where our jeeps will be waiting for us on the 18th day. Overnight camping.
Day 18	Drive to Chilas. overnight at hotel.
Day 19	Drive to Rawalpindi. on arrival transfer to hotel for overnight.
Day 20	Fly to onward destination.
